Within the last 16 years alone, Böning Automationstechnologie GmbH & Co. KG has developed and produced alarm-, security-, and diagnostic systems for more than 21,000 diesel engines of a well-known engine manufacturer. These are being used in luxury yachts as well as in commercial shipping and involve, chiefly, double-engine plants. Furthermore, devices for on-board power supplies, for data acquisition, for navigation lights control, and for many other applications, have been developed and manufactured which are predominantly used in commercial shipping.
